Watched a lot of college basketball over the past few weeks. Despite the portal creating a lot of mercenaries at almost every college, I’m pleasantly surprised that the effort to win games is present. There was a legitimate concern that this would create teams of individuals, and maybe those are the teams that never even got into the tournament. But for somone who has always loved this time of year, I’m reminded why. One and done. Survive and advance. At least so far, the modern college system hasn’t affected the best tournament of the year.
Now just go look at the box score of the Lakers - Bucks game the other night and who didn’t play.
