I thought we had figured it out with Quinshon and then again with JJ this year. Espn kept showing JJ was 12/12 or something like that going into the FL game.
I just really want to know if anyone grabbed JJ and told him to run up the A/B gap or not? I feel like we get those 4th downs and win the game if he doesn’t try to bounce it outside. I’m assuming no one told him to run it up the middle and that was his natural instinct. That’s poor coaching if so. Or maybe JJ just did that himself bc it worked in recent games.
Even one FG on one of those TO on downs would’ve changed the game. Those plays gave FL all the momentum.
