This was the best opportunity for OM to succeed in decades. This coaching staff blew it. Plain & simple.
The Gators had a depleted secondary & has a below average DL. This coaching staff was only able to put 17 points on the board. With 2 weeks to prepare, explain to me how a team ends up with a Group of 5 WR @ RB? Doing the same crap in Red Zone situations this late into the season…explain that to me.
With this current coaching staff, 9-3 IS the ceiling. We will NEVER make the playoffs. If Kiffin doesn’t fire the OC, RB coach & possibly the OL coach…you’ll know he isn’t really serious about being a contender, like his former boss. Saban made the hard decisions.
Fans in the stands during 4th quarter blowouts doesn’t win championships. A SERIOUS evaluation of your program after abject failure does. Some OM fans will be happy with 9-3 or 8-4 regular seasons. Possibly a 10-2 season, with blowout losses. That’s just not really my thing.
