Ole Miss FCA has a large impact on Ole Miss student athletes. Throughout the fall season, they have given out close to 100 Bibles to coaches and athletes, and they help with the Unite event and see over 130 water baptisms. They also host weekly huddles each Monday night for the athletes while ministering to them on and off the field.
Not everyone knows the staff of FCA is funded through faith donations, not through athletics or the university. They have a need for monthly giving to support the staff which in turn can assist the athletes. These staff members are virtually family for a lot of players during times of the year. Several of the staff also are former players, including Peggy Gillom-Granderson, Jared Farlow, Rachel Causey and Cordera Eason so they are able to connect firsthand of what it is like to be part of teams.
