This feels different. This day takes me back to the day after the January 2, 2004 Cotton Bowl. It’s the moment that it truly hit me that I would never see Eli Manning in an Ole Miss uniform again. That was my first QB I remember really following in my Ole Miss fandom. My son has been hooked on Jaxson Dart since 2022, his favorite player, and yesterday was his last game in an Ole Miss uniform. This feels oddly familiar to that day, it’s a feeling of witnessing something special that maybe I didn’t truly appreciate in the moments until years later. Not saying 2004 is coming in terms of QB play, but just curious if it has hit anyone else just how truly special the Ole Miss QB play has been the last 3 years of our fandom…,
