for landing Shea Patterson. Even though OM has been on the rise since hiring Hugh Freeze, today's announcement puts them over the top for the future. This kid will bring tons of talent in with him as he is easily the best quarterback to come out of Louisiana since Eli.

It brings us a ton of potential, not just him but those who will want to play with him of course. Now let's don't mess it up.

Patterson's coach has 'never seen Shea be about Shea'

The words were clear and heartfelt.
They came from Calvary Christian Academy head coach John Bachman at the start of Tuesday's press conference in Shreveport, a few minutes before Shea Patterson - the No. 1-rated quarterback in the 2016 class of recruits - publicly committed to Ole Miss.
Bachman's quotes weren't about a player failing a drug test or assaulting a female. Instead, Bachman talked about what kind of person Shea Patterson is.
And Bachman, 59, carries an array of credentials. He has coached in Louisiana and Texas for 32 years. He has been a part of 10 state championships, including titles in 2013 and 2014 with Patterson.
But this is what Bachman wanted people to know: "From the day that I've met him to the day that we're all here (Tuesday), I've never seen Shea be about Shea ... He is all about his teammates. He is all about everybody else.
