Been dreading this day for years. He’s an almost 13 year old chocolate lab. He was my first ever dog, got him my last semester in college. Hid him like Anne Frank in my apartment for the last 2 months of the semester. Never had a dog growing up and now that I’m 35 having to do this for the first time really sucks.

He’s never chewed or torn up a single personal or household item. He’s always been kind, friendly, and a big lovable goof and would rather snooze then run and play. He always loved football season because he got snacks every time the Rebs did something good and got the whole snack cup on an Ole Miss win. He’s been a big Kiffin fan lol.

Just a month ago he would greet me when I woke up in the mornings wanting breakfast, but the last few weeks his back hips have given out. Now I’m having to physically pick him up and get him standing and we’ve stopped eating. Not even high value food works anymore.

Give your dogs an extra treat or 5 and some extra love for Theodore this week.
