The fight is Ngannou’s (17-3) first in a cage since leaving the UFC in 2023. Following contract disputes, the lineal UFC heavyweight champion lost the belt and signed with the PFL. His last MMA fight was in 2022 and he has competed in professional boxing matches against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua since then.

Ferreira (13-3, 3 NC) has not lost a fight for the PFL since 2022. He beat Denis Goltsov via TKO to win the 2023 heavyweight tournament.

The co-main event will see Cris Cyborg face Larissa Pacheco. Cyborg (27–2, 1 NC) is a former UFC, Strikeforce, and Invicta FC featherweight champion and the current Bellator featherweight champion. She has not fought since Bellator 300 a year ago and looks to start the beginning of her “Legacy Tour.”

Pacheco (23-4) beat Kayla Harrison in 2022 in the PFL lightweight tournament. The Brazilian is on a ten-fight win streak, emerging victorious in the 2023 PFL featherweight tournament last November.

Also on the card, Johnny Eblen (15-0) defends the Bellator middleweight title in a rematch against Fabian Edwards (13-3), while the exciting A.J. McKee (22-1) returns against Irish MMA star Paul Hughes (12-1).
