Alabama Self Reports 19 NCAA Violations

Not the brightest bulbs on the tree over here.
Damn cheaters! Breaking the rules and stuff, and by the way, no players were paid! Where's the truth of that? A booster left tunsil in a loaner car too long and his step dad got 800.00 from a booster. Maybe you should read the NOA

Self reported, and we already covered this weeks ago. You should also read the article and not just the headline. There's no mention of paying anyone's bills.

Lol
Trolling an ole miss "free" board shows your level of butt hurt, now quit posting over here, it's the 4th, I'm sure yalls trailer park is having a big fireworks show tonight! Better get to it!

And why did you self impose sanctions again?

I'm on several boards. This one just happens to be the dumbest of any of them.

Maybe you should. Neal McCready and David Johnson are leading Ole Miss homers like you right over the cliff.

Nice excuse looser, trolling Rebel boards on the 4th. More like Tidebroke if you're honest. Breaking the rules 19 times I'm sure is normal for Bama standards

Did you read the list? The worst one was apparently Alabama put one of its NC trophies on display where a prospect could see it.

Not exactly getting busted sending a player texts saying you'll take care of his momma's bills.

I didn't read the list, not that interested to care to take the time to read it honestly. I just enjoy jabbing at people who sink entirely to much time/effort into other people's boards. Bama is a clean program and Ole Miss is the dirtiest ever. I concede yours and Tidebroke's point.

So you are commenting on something that you openly admit that you know absolutely nothing about? Got it. You're not a Rhodes Scholar are ya, pal?

No one commenting here knows anything. If someone did, I'm sure they'd be in touch with the NCAA. Have you spoken with the NCAA since you "know" or perhaps a compliance dept of any school. My guess is negative, because you "know" zero also. I'm smart enough to realize that; you think you know something because you follow internet boards. I'm sure you'll say you're a big donor to Bama and happen to be in the "know". Again, Bama is a clean program and the Rebs are the only ones bending the rules. I get it pal...

I know that I would read the report at a minimum before posting and removing all doubt of how little I knew on the subject as you just did. But that's just me.

Because if it's on the Internet, it must be true. I'm not going to banter with you all night man. Happy 4th everyone

Lol so you read the headline and made a conclusion without getting all of the facts?

Please tell me people don't depend on your decision making skills.

Hey listen up chief, @Tide Broker didn't post that link, one of your own did. By your own logic since it was on the Internet the whole thing is suspect, yes?

I guess a basic logic class wasn't a requirement at whatever community college you attended, eh?

It's on UAt's web site, genius.

[Alabama self-reported 19 level 3 and 4 violations to the NCAA from July 1, 2015, to June 30, according to a report the university posted on its athletics website Sunday night.

The report includes violations from 10 different sports, including five against football,

Football

  • Former student-athlete provided personal training to current student-athletes free of charge -- The student-athletes involved payed restitution to charity.
  • Coach sent a text message to a prospect -- The coach was prohibited from making recruiting calls for two weeks. No calls, recruiting materials, or electronic communication were sent to the involved prospect for 30 days
  • A trophy was temporarily placed in an area where prospects taking an official visit would be, which resulted in an impermissible recruiting decoration of that area -- Alabama declared prospects involved ineligible until reinstated by NCAA.
  • Coach called a prospect a second time during a week -- The involved coach was prohibited from calling prospects for two weeks. No phone calls could be made to the involved prospect for two weeks.
  • Coach texted a prospect -- The involved coach was prohibited from calling any prospects for two weeks. No recruiting correspondence or materials were sent to the involved prospect for two weeks.

Alabama defensive line coach Bo Davis resigned from his position on the Crimson Tide staff Friday after a report surfaced that the University of Alabama and NCAA made inquiries into potential recruiting infractions.

According to a report from AL.com, Davis is being investigated by the NCAA For potential impermissible contact with recruits. He reportedly visited out-of-state recruits during a dead period in the recruiting cycle.]

So this lines up with the al.com article the OP provided, and shows the violations are either trivial or old news?

Thanks for driving my point home.

Everything posted on every board is suspect pal. It's all second hand info (at best) at the end of the day. My statement on Bama was based on the history of the program and the number of documented probations/bans/etc. Like I keep saying, Bama is a clean program and the Rebs are the only program bending the rules. You and Tidebroke win the argument here, find another board to invade.

You realize it's not a black and white world, right? Most of reality are shades of gray.

I'll see if you are sharp enough to follow my thinking with that statement.

No, not bills, but inappropriate and illegal conversations on the phone and texting. Bad enough! Of course, y'all will get away with it b/c it's Alabama. Hillary Clinton of football!

Appears Alabama has learned from Tennessee, i.e., when NCAA is hot on the trail (see Bo Davis), self-report a number of Level II and Level III violations in hopes NCAA will not look further into the myriad of Level I's in closet. Saban's buddy (NCAA President Mark Emmert) will see to that!

What does that have to do with Ole Miss being investigated for cheating? Don't cheat and there's nothing to investigate.
