Listen if you legitimately believe that in two weeks we have seen a poll shift of 7 points or more then that’s pretty insane. I’ve been following them closely since then, and while there are a few that are decent the ones showing that have a pretty bad democrat oversample or have no cross tabs available. Now perhaps if the economy/unemployment was actually better than when the Dems took the White House, foreign policy wasn’t a resounding failure, and the support was a legitimate grassroots effort for Kamala that would be one thing, but it has quite literally been the opposite. When looking at the Kamala 4+ polls with the slightest bit of scrutiny you will see the sample is anywhere from D+4 all the way to D+ 10. If you’re convinced the electorate is in that margin your fears would be very well founded, but in reality it’s not. The boost she’s receiving is from her own base coming back after having flatlined due to Biden, anyone with a pulse would’ve gotten that type of response bias. When looking at the totality of everything however wide open border, economy rapidly approaching/already being in recession, and the multiple foreign policy crises it doesn’t track with reality. The internet isn’t real life, and while it’s definitely important the fact is that we’re all so tapped into it it’s hard to tell it from the everyday. It’s why a good bit of us feel comfortable with wanting to say the most absolutely vile shit to each other on it, but to take your twitter feed for an accurate reflection of political momentum is not a great idea. I’m happy to be proven wrong on any of this, but come on if you legitimately believe that the pendulum has swung so far in her favor over two weeks get a grip, she’s a leftist from California who’s policies are significantly more radical than Trumps. She has to actively lie about her own record to make it seem otherwise. Get a grip
