This is a new bottle part of the new Myer’s Rum signature cask collection. Finished in George T. Stagg antique collection casks. I’ve probably sampled bottles of 50+ different rums in the last 10+ years. This may be the smoothest thing I’ve ever had. Better than the Appleton 25 year and anything Plantation/Planteray (my favorite brand) produces, including the signature and single casks.
Anyone with any other great recommendations to keep an eye out for? I typically keep one $35-50 bottle and one $80-140 bottle on the shelf. Once a year I buy the Appleton 25 year, but this may replace it (it was about $85).
