I walk into the house immediately after mowing the yard and weed eating and she's dramatically marching around making a big show of cleaning the house. There's a palpable angry resentment in her cleaning. Really weird. It's not like I don't help in the house too. I cook most dinners, make the kid's lunches for school every weekday morning, make breakfast, I cleaned all of Friday night's dishes first thing Saturday morning, did the grocery shopping today (and most times) because she gets stressed out at a busy grocery and I could happily spend all day there finding the right ingredients for meals. On top of that I remove and install all old and new appliances, install new ceiling fans, lights, vanities, under sink disposal, new toilets etc. And I never consider there's anything unfair or fair in any of it. It's just life. Frankly I don't care or have the free mental space to worry about who's done more or less of the ever mounting chores of life. Anyway, just curious how common the angry house cleaning thing is. I've considered angrily and aggressively weed eating to humor myself in these times. The kids would be confused though so not gonna do that of course.
