@littlejohn444 and/or any other poster that might know........

I have a full bath in my basement mancave. The shower rarely gets used. In the past, I've taken a home depot bucket of hot water and dumped it down the drain a couple of times and the smell went away. This time, I've done that 3 times, plus I've poured 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of vinegar - waited about 20 min's, then poured a 1/2 gallon of hot water down it. Smell is still here.

Can I go to home depot and get something that specifically addresses the p-trap? I've seen something on a quick google search and found a liquid plumber gel - does that work? Any other specific product I should look for?

When should I call a plumber and how much (est) would this cost? Drain is not clogged at all.

TIA.
