There was an Auburn fan sitting next to me at the baseball game who epitomized the state of Alabama. He was a grown man probably in his late 20s or early 30s wearing an Auburn football jersey. Ok, little weird but nothing alarming. Then he pulls out a full sized poster of Gus Malzahn that is covered in autographs he had gotten from the team earlier in the day before the spring game. He probably waited for hours to get all those signatures from guys who are a decade younger than he is. The tipping point was when he got his football gloves out that were also signed by players and put them on and started checking them out. I'm sure Neal has seen these type of guys all the time when he lived there.
