I had an interesting uber ride the other day. My uber driver was the woodson high in dc football coach. He coached a kid named D'andre Payne. We got to talking football and I mentioned I was originally from Knoxville. This guy proceeded to tell me what a scum bag Butch Jones was. Basically everything mentioned on this board about him is true. He said he sells that family atmosphere, then once players get there treats them like garbage. He made a lot of promises to D'Andre Payne and apparently didn't meet any of them, thus causing D'Andre to consider transferring. Whenever Butch Heard this he burned the kids red shirt in one of the last games of the season. I guess that's why 10 plus kids left the program last year. The Coach said Butch was a used car salesman, and none of the coaches in the DC area want him around.
