in the United States of America that doesn't have a small group of people who provide a negative light for their state? Can someone please find me a state that doesn't have problems, race relations or otherwise?
By the way, the only two states in the South that rank in the top 10 in hate crimes are Alabama and Tennessee. The rest are all Northern and Western States (like Connecticut with the KKK).
The unabridged bashing of my state on this board has become ridiculous. It has its problems, but so does every other state. The narrow scope at which it is being looked at by posters here is disheartening and it is very insulting to continuously see the whole state lumped in with a very small group of Mississippians. Please take the time to educate yourself on Mississippi before calling us all backwards, racist, plantation dreaming, rednecks. Thanks.
