What do we think of the league for 25?

Teams I find really interesting:

Alabama: what do they look like in year 2? Who plays QB? I love Ryan Grubb. Do they move on to Kelon Russel at some point in 25. Tons of talent on that team.

Auburn: high expectations and tons of pressure on the plains. Still really inexperienced. They’re going to have to play a bunch of really talented young g guys. Have they found their QB?

OU: i think they’re the most fascinating team in the SEC. Brent does such a fantastic job with their defense. I love that they brought in Ben Arbuckle and John Mateer from Washington State. Mateer is just so dynamic. They get back all those injured WRs. They’re fine at RB. Can the OL take a step. I expect them to be the most improved team in the league and compete for a playoff spot.

LSU: They went so heavy in the portal and brought in a ton of talent. I love Nuss as a second year starter. I expect big things from him. Can their defense take a step with the influx of talent?

Teams I expect to take a step back:

Georgia: they lost their entire OL, and last years group was really bad by UGA standards. QB is gone. They don’t really have an heir apparent. Defense was good but not great by UGA standards. What do they look like in 26.

Texas has to reload. Schedule is soft for a sec team. I’ll be pissed if they won the league in year 1 with Arch.

Carolina: I don’t trust their coach or qb. They’ll be off season darlings but I fully expect them to crap the bed.

Tennessee and OM are getting no pub. If I’m a fan of either I’m excited about that. Both have proven that they’re just gonna be good every year. Is Austin for real? Does Nico take a massive step? Can OM piece together a running game. Do the young DL shine? Can Tennessee reload on defense?

Outside of the league I have my eye on Georgia Tech and Washington. Tech has seen a bump in recruiting and returns a third year starter in Haynes King. Washing and Jed Fisch are in year two and will be starting former OM commit Demond Williams who looked super dynamic when he replaced their starter for their last three games of 24.

Forgive me, we’re off for the week, I’m coffee’ed up and bored. Do y’all have any thoughts? Just trying to drum up some football talk. What interest you?
