We have been sitting on this for a couple of days, but multiple sources have told us that Ole Miss assistant athletic director for high school and junior college relations Barney Farrar has been placed on administrative leave. Farrar did not accompany Ole Miss to College Station, Texas, last weekend and is not expected to be with the team Saturday at Vanderbilt. I asked Ole Miss athletics director Ross Bjork earlier this week for a comment and he politely declined, stating he couldn't address personnel issues. I reached out to Hugh Freeze this morning but to this point, he has not responded. I realize this post is going to prompt questions and/or speculation. However, we're not going to go there at this point. Instead, we're going to let the situation play out.
