SOOOOOO..... 13 people are supposed to approval all expenses over 100 or 250k? The UMMC budget is over 1 BILLION!! That is a some really shitty red tape. I mean talk about bureaucracy log jam. That is A LOT of BS paperwork. Why not hire people that make good decisions and let them make those decisions? Unless......
My opinion/speculation Is that this policy in place to direct the hospital to certain vendors. Most politicians in Mississippi (and many other places) are dirty. I think this is bigger than approving vendor contracts. The government serves those in charge... Power grab.
