Defensive question ... dropping 8 in coverage

When we get leads, we tend to rush only down linemen and drop as much as 8 in coverage.

Coker got to the second level on us with his feet and I am assuming that he is not the most agile QB we will face.

Does this defensive look put us at more risk for this type of run down the road (especially on 3rd downs)?
