We are already seeing the effects of the surge in numbers in the OR. For the last several months we did the rare COVID+ surgical case every 2-3 weeks. We are now seeing multiple COVID positive emergency cases per week now.
I don’t think lockdowns or stay at home orders are the answer going forward. I don’t think forced vaccination is a legitimate path. I hate it, and am sad, for the families and friends who will lose loved ones going forward for their personal decision not to vaccinate.
