I'll admit I have only been following CFB lines for a year or so, but the line for our game Saturday is the weirdest I can remember. Ole Miss opened -4 and has now moved to -6 on most books. This movement has happened despite the fact that public money has been largely on TAMU based on sources such as The Spread (http://www.thespread.com/ncaa-college-football-public-betting-chart) and VegasInsider. The fact that the majority of bets are coming in on TAMU, but the line has continued to move towards Ole Miss means that the people who bet large amounts (sharps, insiders, etc.) feel good about the Rebs straight up and even ATS in this game. Not to mention the Vegas bookmakers who set the original line at -4. The TAMU money line at +190 is also baffling to me. Am I missing something? This very weird line is the only thing that makes me feel good about Saturday, but maybe they know something we don't. (Allen not playing maybe?)
