My wife and I inherited my dad's dog after he passed away. We finally are able to sell his house so now the dog is living with us in our apartment. She whines and cries when we leave, I think it is separation anxiety. What is a good method to help her with that, so she will not whine and cry so much for so long after we leave. She is an 8yr old Maltese/shih tzu mix. TIA
