So I was admitted to Mayo in Jacksonville Monday for an expedited lung/liver transplant evaluation. It looks like they have decided to do both lung and liver. Having a lot of test run to see if I can be eligible to go on transplant list. I have a rare genetic disorder called Short Telomere Syndrome. It has affected my organs and also my body is aging faster than normal. My breathing really took a turn for the worst the last 6 months. Prior I was very active and outside all the time. Depending on other people for my care is really difficult and all this has happened so fast. Just seeking His guidance on it all. Prayers appreciated. I’m 38 and Ive seen the stats on lung transplant success. Just giving it all to Him.
