We all know the playoff system will eventually be expanded to 8 teams. However, with amount of games played being a potential concern with an expansion, when do we start looking at removing conference championship games or regular season games. Do you think 8 teams + conference championship is the sweet spot or will we potentially see an even bigger field pending the removal of conference championship games?
I wish it were an 8 team playoff starting in 2016. I wouldn't mind a bigger field (i.e. 12 teams) but you would have to look at cutting a game or two from the schedules. Thoughts?
