Louisville and NBA player Junior Bridgeman passed away this weekend. he was 72, and article said he was a billionaire. Said after his NBA career that he bought over 500 Wendy’s and Taco Bell franchises. In 2016 he was listed as the 4th wealthiest retired athlete behind Arnold Palmer, David Beckham and Michael Jordan. Obviously did well for himself after his NBA career ended.
