This needs its own thread and I’m making a shameless personal plug because I’m proud.

First off, I want to thank RG for having this thread last night.

Second, I want to thank my wife for not complaining about my golf habit and my daycare for opening so my kids can return and I can play more.

I am proud to announce today that I finally broke a sub-par round at Country Club of Oxford.

It was a struggle all day but I persevered.

A 4-putt double bogey on #3 and a 3-putt bogey on #8 didn’t derail my round. I made 5 birdies. On #14, #15, and #16 I left 6 foot birdie putts just short. This round could have been one for the ages but I’m extremely proud to announce that I finally broke par.

Im also very thankful that in this post I can announce that Chase and Brian Scott Rippee were my witnesses.

Congrats are also in order for Mr Rippee firing a 77 today for his first sub-80 round at CCO.
