How far do you hit your clubs @Chase Parham ? I'm always surprised how short most grown ass men hit different clubs. I'm not a great golfer (9.3 Index). I do however, hit the ball fairly well with almost all clubs.
Driver- 275-290 on AVG (Max of ~310/315)
3W- 270-280 (if I hit it correctly)
3 Hybrid- 245-260
4 Iron- 225 ( have the nasty gap in clubs)
5 Iron- 215
6 Iron- 195 (another gap in clubs)
7 Iron- 185
8 Iron- 172-175
9 Iron- 160
PW- 135-155 depending on what I am trying to do with club/shot
GAP- 125-130
60- 80-110 depending on what I am trying to do with club/shot
All my numbers are what I play to and GOLFTEC validated with launch monitor.
Now for context, I am 6'5/ 255 and fairly athletic (played college baseball and had offers to play low level basketball).
The DELTA always amazes me that guys just cant hit the ball far. I get its physics and ability, but on average I would think most males in a range are similar. They aren't. For instance, I have a buddy who is a better golfer than (~2/3) me and similar size. He uses a driver on some longish par 3s.
How does Rory for instance, hit some balls over 400 YARDS!
