I have nothing against Sanders. He comes off as a little entitled but that's not a crime and doesn't make him a bad person. I'm sure he's a good kid, and I wish him the best wherever he lands. That said, the ridiculous response by a lot of idiots on X over him not getting drafted in the 1st round has gotten absurd. You would think Trump sent ICE agents to kidnap him and send him to a prison in El Salvador the way people are acting. And all the racial accusations put it over the top. I blame ESPN for pumping a lot of BS for ratings. I'm just a casual NFL fan myself and I knew there was a good chance he wouldn't go first round just from listening to Tyler on the podcast (and some other non-MPW podcasts) the last few weeks. These people are acting as if it was just a foregone conclusion that Sanders would not only be a first round pick, but top 10 or top 5. Where the hell did they get this idea? And how do they not understand that a lot of teams don't even need a QB? Thanks for allowing me to vent. Perhaps I should mute the word "Shadeur" on X.
Good lord, Twitter is inundated with takes by people who apparently never paid attention to any NFL draft until yesterday.
