a new job! FYI folks don't assholes who sue their former employers. I saw that first hand years back when in a management position. A background check uncovers a lot. In Nutt's case however no ck is needed if you read the internet. He wasn't going to be a coach again in the first place. Prob go into politics.

Actually, he started the lawsuit when OM started putting out that all the things that Freezus had done was actuallh on him. No way he could get another job with those lies hanging out there.

You think bosses dont like employees that sue? How do you think prospective hires feel about bosses who try to turn them into scapegoats?

I suspect a year from now, 5 years from now, Nutt will be doing better than anyone at OM will be.

When he wins damages against OM for slander he won't need a job. OM may offer to rename several on campus building after someone he suggest. For the curious, it's not fully cooperating when you do your best to place the blame on the previous coaching staff., I would expect the NCAA will frown on OM cheating while the investigation is on going..

No doubt Freeze should have never pulled this stunt. The fact that 4 seasons had passed before this occurred without Nutt even being able to get an interview severely screws his case from a damages standpoint.

You people (other may call you clowns) do realize (as of about a week ago) he (Nutt) is willing to accept an apology and no wages/damages. Yet one of you thinks he wont need a job or they may name buildings after him on campus....WOW, you are clearly delusional. The other clown thinks Nutt will be doing better than anyone at OM after 5 years. No matter what penalty they hand down, it wont last longer than probably 3 years. Most likely we'll have a good coach with the program on the rise after years 2-3 (next year (and maybe year 2) will probably be our worst years) so things will be looking up. Where will Nutt be....probably unenmployed....yup that's better than making a few mil as an SEC coach at a program that's on the way back to competing in the SECW.

Some of yawlls pure hatred for OM is getting seriously tiresome. Most of you people spend more time on our board than your own boards.

You make a good point about damages. But it is important to note that this wasn't freeze who pulled this stunt, this was a concerted and deliberate effort by the administration to redirect and misdirect culpability.

Maybe, I do recall Bjork's statement in 2016 was that the "more serious allegations occurred under a prior staff and admin" this was a factual statement as the 2nd NOA did not exist yet. If you have any other statements that show the admins effort please share.

That wasn't true, the lack of institutional control happened under Freeze's watch, not Nutt. It appears Nutt's biggest misdeeds were academic related, with his coaches and test scores. OM has tried to make Barney the fall guy in all this, I am sure he will show his appreciation for that around Sept. 11, Freeze's testimony should be interesting too. Freeze resigned but not by choice, and Barney was used as a fall guy, how nervous are you about them wanting to spill their guts and tell all to the NCAA? Ahh Freeze really has no axe to grind, but Barney on the other hand does, OM and Freeze conspired to make him the fall guy in all this/ Of course it's easy to believe the sources that puts OM in the best light, no matter they have been lying to you for 5 years about this entire deal.

Im actually stunned that OM fans are willing to believe anything coming out of Oxford at this point, considering how consistently theyve been lied to.

Bjork being run out of the state of Mississippi is the one good thing that would come from this mess
