An interception saved the game (Bridges interception was made with 10:30 left, but it did lead to Treadwell's touchdown making it out of reach in the end). And finally, both this year and last year, a touchdown and extra point by Alabama would have won it. If I have my facts straight, I think this is very interesting. Another simillariity is they were both exhausting and nerve-racking to watch. The three sacks at the end of the third quarter and the scoring bursts by Alabama (3) in the 4th quarter just about did me in. But I grinned all day long. Roll, tears, roll!
