Most dangerous stretch of 2 lanes I've driven in my lifetime. Drive it on average 4 times every week at all hours of the day and night and typically have to pull off the road to avoid a head on collision once every two weeks. Happened again yesterday driving my mom to Oxford for Christmas eve. The idiots will pass multiple cars without any consideration of the oncoming traffic. I'm estimating one patrol car every two or three weeks at best. I drive 60 and it's like I'm standing still.
Total respect and appreciation for the highway patrol but have never understood the lack of coverage between Oxford and HS. Anyone know why or someone that could improve the coverage? Phone calls or emails do they actually help with MS Hwy Patrol? Travel 500 miles multiple days a week through MS, TN, AR and MO and nothing comes close to the crazy idiots on Hwy 7
