He helped deregulate many major parts of the U.S. economy. One such group was CAB. He appointed Alfred Kahn as the head of this agency. He then dismantled it.

So, for any of you liberals that are about to start dissing on Trump & Musk…and also sing Carter’s praises, please keep this in mind.

Carter, unlike Kamala, was also in favor of lowering long-term cap gains - taking them down from 35% to 28%. Imagine that!!
