.... concerning the NCAA being dissolved and players being able to cash in on their fame and likeness. The only logical reason why most fans are opposed to such an action is because they believe it will turn out to be a New York Yankees situation where schools such as Ohio State, Alabama, USC, UGA etc.... and schools that have the alumni, money, and opportunity to essentially buy players via their fame promotion schemes will get all of the top players and leave the rest of the teams left out on the access to get players. Essentially the argument is that Alabama boosters can guarantee car deals, while Ole Miss can do no better than get you a "Critter Gitter" commercial for $500.
What they miss out on is the truth. And the truth is that their biggest fear already happens in College sports. If you think that Alabama isn't paying out more incentives than everyone else in the SEC then you are a fool. If you think that LSU isn't getting money to players to sign with them then you are a fool.
The playing field isn't level right now. How could players getting promo deals all of a sudden skew the playing field to favor Alabama and LSU over Ole Miss and Vandy? The game is already being played. People just don't want to acknowledge what is happening.
