After all this time, finally, at the Walmart in Flowood last night, I had some mask Karen say something. It was great!
As I rounded the corner into another isle, her and what I guess was her teenage girls, or friends, it's hard to tell with the masks, anyway she looked at me and touched her mask but didn't say anything so I wasn't sure if she was trying to say something to me or not and here's how it went:
Me: "I'm sorry?"
Her: (Mumbling...) "... mask."
Me: "I'm sorry ma'am... Say again?"
Her (Louder): "You need a mask."
Me: "No ma'am, I really don't. But hey, you feel free to wear as many as you like. Anything else I can do for you?"
Her: (Now turning to move on... kind of mumbling, but loudly, again) "I don't understand... (Something)... people like you."
Me: "It's called freedom. God Bless and have a great evening."
It could have been better, like if it was a guy or if she'd been more belligerent, but overall, not bad. I had fun.
