I saw this decommitment coming from a mile away. Loyalty is fine and the young man seemed to really like the place. However, money talks and the rest walks, especially for a national top 100 offensive lineman.
It won't ever happen, but they would realisticaly be better off in the Sun Belt. I am no NIL /finance/ football expert, but I don't ever see them competing for anything in this NIL era. I can't even see them winning 4 games next season.
Lebby has a ton on his plate. Not sure how anything resembling success on the football field will ever happen when your chief competitor will always have more money than you and a coach like Lane Kiffin.
