I posted about an LSU friend of mine and his son that was coming up for Orientation at Ole Miss, even though he lives 50 miles from the LSU campus.
My friend's son was dealing with an illness over the past couple of weeks and was diagnosed with cancer. He is now being treated at St. Judes and has been diagnosed with stage 4 of an aggressive cancer and will have to go through aggressive treatments of chemo and radiation and may require some surgery. He had to withdraw from Ole Miss the week before he was to check into his dorm room.
I am typing this with tears in my eyes as I cannot imagine how my friend or his son can deal with this. I have lost my parents, my wife and multiple friends, but to deal with a life threatening illness of a child, especially one that is 18 years old, must be unbearable. For those of you that do pray, please keep Sean and his mother and father in your prayers.
