Yes, we have elevated the talent level, that much is undeniable. I think a more important factor is what Chris Beard has done to the culture. You’ll hear Malik Dia say that making the sweet 16 wasn’t what they wanted to do - they want to make a final 4 and they believe that they can make a final 4. I think much like Kiffin, the challenge will be getting the portal guys fully bought into the culture. Can Chris Beard get it done? Look at Dia being a leader and program ambassador a year later and the early answer is a resounding yes.
