Here are my humble opinions on the in game experience last night.
Pregame- Music and videos before kickoff I would give a solid B+ to A-. Music selection is good. Lock the Vaught has become a good tradition. The intro video being updated every game is great.
During game - D for last night's game. Poor music selection in my opinion. If you watch a Lsu or Bama game, you notice they play the same songs regularly that the entire crowd expects and goes crazy over.. We had some consistency playing "bulls on parade". The past year or two we seemed to embrace the Lil Jon "Mississippi " remix... but not last night. We also went with the Lil Jon "get out of your mind" last season and it has gone Mia as well. "No flex zone" doesn't appear in games. We had many moments last night where a song would start and then the band start a different song 5 seconds later. I just think we should be more consistent with "hype" songs during the game to keep the students and fans as loud as possible. Bama uses "down for my....". Ut uses "turn down for what". Again just my opinion, but the crowd could have used a little more help from the "DJ" last night.
