Ethan Lege won't play this weekend because of the broken thumb. He's not ruling out the following week. It's a wait and see.

Austin Simmons has a sprained UCL and will be shut down for the rest of baseball season. They are going to try to rehab it without surgery and the goal is to be ready for summer football workouts and football season. That's what Mike said. My note: That means it's not a complete tear, but a sprain is a stretched UCL or a mild tear. There are three grades - 1. stretched, 2. partial tear 3. complete tear. Doctors think it can heal without surgery. Obviously worst case would be a surgery later which would put two football and one baseball seasons in danger, but this is a better diagnosis than a complete UCL breakdown that was a for-sure surgery.
