Young’s greatest asset was his mobility and awareness to extend plays and locate an open guy. His mobility is not good enough to regularly do that in the NFL, he’s getting killed, and he’s not able to make the reads early in play. He’s being showed up by a guy now that is a system quarterback that’s making the right reads within the system and quickly getting the ball out.
Cam relies on extending the play just as much. Doesn’t have elite athleticism. Don’t think that aspect of his game will translate to the NFL.
