It wasn't that bad. Yeah, I said it. I'm usually pretty negative, too. I actually watched the game last night with a state fan. I was embarrassed last night. I got home today and re watched the game. Here's what I've got.
The line play was suspect at times but we made a bunch of tough plays too. A coverage bust, a mis handled snap, a missed tackle. Snap over head killed a drive. Missed FG. The prevent defense at the end of the half didn't help anyone's mood. The only score they "earned" was against the prevent D. We got on the wrong side and never answered. 3 bad plays cost us 3 tds.
Florida has a crapload of talent. (3rd ranked class in 2012, 4th in 2013[yeah, 3 spots ahead of us] 8th in 2014. 20th in 2015) They just needed a new kindergarten teacher. Kudos to mcelwain.
Hopefully we will be underestimated by some teams and we will get to work on our end. There's a long way to go.
