Saw where Coker missed practice this morning and it is reported that he will miss "several days of practice" but that he would make a full recovery.

Obvioulsy, poor news for the guy, but could be of importance for us Sept. 19. Call me crazy, but I think we beat Bama in T -town. I know, I know, we will have a new qb. But so will they, and they had a new qb last year, that had actually been with the program for years. So he knew the system. Coker has only been there for two, so I like our odds. Bama will always be talented and next year may be different. I'm not saying we are at Bama's level of dominating or being favored in the big games yet, but I think this year is different. With our talent returning on defense, I think we hold them and play them tight. If we are at least serviceable at qb, and have somewhat of a running game, I think we win. Cooper was a big part of their offense last year and he is gone. I know home field plays a huge advantage, especially in T town, but remember, we played from behind last year and still found a way to win. I like our chances this year. And perhaps a little better if Coker is/ will be hurt during that time.
