Their plan was to run out the entire game clock as soon as possible and hope some crazy sh1t happens. It worked.
They ran 40+ seconds on almost every play and we couldn’t stop them on third downs and several 4th downs. With the new clock rules and the way their team is built, they will be in the game till the end with anybody they play if they don’t make many mistakes.
I’m not ready to throw in the towel yet. I think we can still run the table. It sucks but this loss might be a good thing in the long run since it came early. This team has the talent and the staff to get it done.
