This is just my view, but Saturday might have been the worst offensive gameplan he’s ever brought to the table. Especially because Ole Miss has a more talented team.
He’s won a fair share of toss ups while here which took some “in game” play calls and decisions: KY two years ago, Arkansas on KJ missed pass, LSU last year, Texas AM last year, Tulane last year took a 4th down to Trigg to separate….you can point to creative in game calls that helped keep the game close or to keep us from out right losing.

But look at the games he just failed to gameplan really well for:
2021 - AU whipped us at AU 31-20
2022 - LSU there drubbed Ole Miss 45-20
2022- Ark (AU rumor game) 42-27
2022 - MSU (Leach final game) no excuse to lose that one
Texas Bowl - Texas Tech 42-25 beaten by a High School coach (Kiffin was already mentally in Boca)
2024 - KY

Kiffin is given a ton of credit for "in game" play calls, but sometimes his gameplan is lacking. It’s one thing to see what the opposing team does on film, but how does that plan change if they do different than expected. I like what Kiffin has done for Ole Miss, but he still has a lot of growing to do as a Game Planner.
