Excited about playiing at home again. Same type of crowd as last week, similar game time. Challenging opponent, they’ve lost a few but took LSU to the line and given us a lot of problems. Challenge to play well contain these guys.

Spend time making sure we made mistakes and need to get better. Poor decisions, selfish decisions, penalties. We have a ton to work on.

KJ gets bigger every year and he’s so hard to bring down. Brings his great game against us. We have to tackle and cover because he makes plays out of rhythm. He makes so many plays down the field.

Bentley is consistent and does everything right. It’s awesome to see someone like that do well. Great kid. Seven yards a carry.

Lane hasn’t heard that a fan died at the game. That’s really tragic.

Harry Harrison thanked Lane on behalf of the older former players. Lane said it was exciting to end that way but he wished it was won earlier or they caught the pick. But it was exciting and dramatic.

I think we didn’t play well in a lot of areas including special teams and a defensive disaster and it helps us move forward. The amount of work to do. The good part is we didn’t play great as a team. We won’t be reading our press from the win.

I use last year’s game as reason that the results from the year don’t matter and we have to be better. Last year they struggled with Liberty and then against us looked top five in the country. I used last year as evidence.

Sam’s teams are tough and physical. Sanders is back and healthy now. They’ll have more success running than earlier in the year. They play like him with his O-line mentality and tough and physical.

Jaxson has played really well and we didn’t have help for him at Alabama. He’s done a really good job. He had 2 plays against Alabama he wants back and he was so competitive against LSU. He threw a couple deep throws underthrown but his mentality is so awesome for the team. He threw it great.

We challenged the defense today to follow the offense. The offense last week against Bama played badly and then recovered and did things better. Had a great week in practice. We’re excited about our health on offense. Harris shouldn’t have played at all against Bama. Saturday was what we pictured it looking like.
