Letting Judkins walk away and benching Bentley is the story of this season. The RB position is important in the SEC and we can’t treat it like the NFL does. Judkins as the bell cow and Bentley as the compliment is not replaced easily.
Egos don’t win championships.
This team is one of the most talented teams in school history and they failed. Everything improved across the board on this team except RB. We paid for this. A lot of us are successful businessmen and we know that pissing in our cherrios and cutting the collective off is not going to fix the problem.
Kiffin and offensive staff need to fix their egos and employ the best RBs our money can buy. I will be making my contribution contingent on Walker Jones procuring the best RB on the market offseason and the players need to play as a team. I don’t like everyone I work with. But I don’t let my best employees walk away or silo them because of our differences.
Lesson learned we need an elite RB to go to the playoff and we need to get our egos in check.
