I’m not going back any further than that, because this will be the 4th time Lane has played them.

2020. Auburn 35 Ole Miss 28. 11am kick. This game was during Covid. It was “Fat Lane’s” first matchup vs Auburn, and a good ole taste of how one way this game is officiated. This game ended with the now famous instant replay review from Birmingham, showing the ball touching the finger of the AU player, but got called the opposite way, AND the Elijah Moore TD that was not called a TD at the very end.

2021 Auburn 31 Ole Miss 20. 6pm kick. “Skinny Lane” and his ( banged up ) Matt Corral led Rebels rolled into Auburn with a #10 National Ranking after beating Tennessee, and LSU the two previous weeks. Bo Nix torched the Rebs all night, and the refs shut down any momentum the Rebel offense attempted all night long.

2022 Ole Miss 48 Auburn 34. 11am kick. In what seemed like the longest football game EVER, due to many instant replay reviews, ( including the opening kickoff for targeting ), and TV timeouts. Throw in a weather delay in the 4th qtr, and this game lasted right at 5 hours. Brian Harsin was a dead man walking in this game. The Ole Miss defense could not stop the AU running game all day. It was an ass beating to sit through, but Rebels got it done, in a ho hum, ugly football game.
