How many days rest do you think the average 9 or 10 year old needs after throwing a couple innings?
I've got a very good team this year with 3 kids that can really throw it and another kid that can give me some innings here and there when we have a lead. My main objective is to protect these kids and the last thing I want to do is overuse one of them.
What's a good rule of thumb. My Ace that threw Thursday did not throw a pitch last night but another kid that gave me an inning Thursday threw 2 innings last night.
