After watching the replay twice, at the 11:47 mark of the 1st half with the score 14-11 Ole Miss, LSU shot a 3 and missed. Collins of LSU got the offensive rebound and was fouled by Brakefield on the floor before putting up a shot that went in. LSU was awarded the ball out of bounds, i. e. basket no good. The score shows 14-11. LSU inbounds and makes a 3. The score switches 1st to 14-13, as if counting Collins' basket, then switches to 16-14 after counting the made 3. A 5 point possession instead of 3 points.

Don't want to belabor this, but I can't come to any other conclusion than a screwing by the LSU official scorer after watching the replay twice. I then went to the ESPN play by play and it shows the same thing, all at the 11:47 mark, stating Collins made 2 point jumper, 14-13, then Givens made 3 point jumper, 16-14.

Surely there's another explanation. Maybe somebody can educate me.
